Veterinary/Health Requirements: Current Rabies certificate; Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date.
Stabling Information: Limited local stabling available on request, contact show organizer.
Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 917) If scheduling permits; Permission from show organizer required prior to submitting entry.
Misc. Show info: This is a beginner friendly event, a true one day. No drinking water available on the grounds, non potable water available for cooling horses. No natural shade. Bring water, food and drink for you and your horse. Please leave your trailer area as clean as when you arrived. This event is held in a CT State Park. All obstacles within easy walking distance. Bicycles allowed, no ATV’s or motorized vehicles. (Exceptions made for those with disabilities – contact organizer) Assistance and information is always near by asking a show official, we are always happy to be of service! All dogs must be leashed. Thanks.
Sunday, June 10th: CVDC Clinic and Fun Day at the park. Course is open for driving and clinic lessons available with the show officials. Reduced rates for show volunteers. Contact show secretary for information and entry. See schedule above.
Awards Offered: Prize and 6 ribbons for each class; Champion Dressage; Champion and Reserve Training and Preliminary; Champion Youth, Training and Preliminary sponsored by the Sullivan family.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, Lunch and beverages offered by local Scout Troop.
Accommodations: Contact organizer for hotel, camping and stabling in the area.
Camping On Grounds: No, This is a State Park that does not allow camping.
Camping Off Grounds: Yes, Contact Organizer for information.
Directions to Show: From the north: I 91 south, take left exit 22S onto Rt. 9 south. Take exit 10 off Rt. 9, at the end of the ramp turn right onto Rt. 154 south for 4.5 miles. Haddam Meadows State Park is on the left. From the South: I 95 to exit 69 onto Rt. 9 north. Take exit 7, merge onto Rt. 82. At light turn left onto Rt. 154 north for 3.4 miles, Haddam Meadows State Park is on the right. THEN: On entering the park bear right, follow drive along field, parking is at the far end. Parking help will be available as space is limited.
