ADS Announced New Date and Location for 2020 North American Championships

The American Driving Society, Inc. (ADS) is pleased to announce that Tryon International Equestrian Center will host the 2020 ADS North American Preliminary and Intermediate Championships at the Tryon CDE, September 17 – 20 in Tryon, North Carolina. The Tryon CDE will also offer USEF Advanced classes.

“We are pleased to be able to host the NAC’s at TIEC,” said Organizer Jennifer Matheson. “This is an excellent opportunity for our driving community to compete at a World Championship venue.”  TIEC was the host site for the 2018 World Equestrian Games.

Both Dressage and Cones will be held in a sand fiber mixture footing arena and the marathon course winds through a former golf course. There will be a controlled warm-up for the marathon with a warm-up obstacle. Permanent stabling will be utilized and there will be plenty of space to spread out the competitors in keeping with USEF and ADS Covid-19 Action Plans.
