JRDA Carriage Gymkhana Fun Day
Tentative Schedule:
11:00 AM – Short meeting about what each class entails.
12:00 PM – Classes begin
Patterns will be provided at the 11 AM meeting.
Full harness or bridle with surcingle required for the Long Lining class.
One horse at a time in the ring for safety.
Trail driving available between or after classes.
Location: Dot and Lou’s Farm 2545 Dogtown Road. Goochland, VA 23063.
Water, coffee, and donuts provided at time of arrival. Main course provided for the Potluck lunch. Please bring a side dish to share.

Introducing a new Driving Derby Series for driving enthusiasts!
Registration for the Series is required
to be eligible for the Series Championships. Registration is FREE.
You must register for the series PRIOR to any event you want to qualify with.

To be eligible for the series Championship you will need to compete in at least 3 of these events.
Division/Class Champions will be determined based on your best 3 scores at the end of the series.
DIVISIONS: Training (Walk/Trot only) & Open (Walk/Trot/Canter)
Separate Youth (under 21) & Adult (21 and over) divisions if there are at least 3 competitors per division.

Reins of Life - Therapeutic horseback riding and the Carriage and Sleigh Association of Northwest Indiana are proud to be partnering together to put on an educational Driving Clinic!
The Clinician: Sandy Green has been involved in horses for close to 40 years, many of those in both pleasure and combined driving.
She works with all kinds of equines - minis to drafts, singles, and pairs. She has competed up to Advanced Level in single pony where she won bronze at the National Championships. She believes in strong basics, safety, and working with your equine as a partner.
She is comfortable working with beginner and advanced drivers and believes in sharing the tools needed to continue improving on your own.
When: Sunday, April 21st
Time: Begining at 10:00 AM Central Time
Where: Reins of Life- 9375 W 300 N Michigan City, IN
Lesson Details: 1 hour Group Lessons
Cost to participate with your horse:
$25 per class for active ROL Driving students and volunteers
$25 per class for Carriage and Sleigh Association of NW Indiana members and members of Indiana Whips and Wheels
$35 per class for all other participants
Auditing Fee: $5, Free for ROL students and vols and Carriage Club members
Potluck Lunch: Please bring a dish to share
