In 2023, the Equine Medical Center will host a hybrid “Tuesday Talks” Program. Guests are welcome to attend each evening presentation here at the Center or may join remotely via a webinar link.
Each presentation starts at 7 p.m. (EST) and will be about one hour long. Guests will be given the opportunity to ask questions after each presentation. There is no charge to attend these webinars, but we ask that you consider supporting our Good Samaritan Fund. This compassionate fund provides financial assistance to owners of horses and other equines who are unable to financially support the treatment of serious and/or life- threatening conditions, when a successful outcome and good quality of life are likely.

Wed, Feb 15th at 7:00 PM - Presenter: Greg Hunt
Greg Hunt of Hunt’s Harness will discuss in detail about how to fit each part of a harness to your equine. Hear it all first-hand from this master harness maker.
Greg’s perspective is that “there are six broad areas of concern: bridle, back pad and backstrap(turnback), breeching, breast collar and neck strap, full collar, and breast plate (false martingale).
Each of these has particular issues of construction and fit.
Placement of the various particular parts lengthen and
shorten both attached and adjacent parts. Although made
up of various parts, it is necessary for them to act in proper
coordination for the safety, comfort, and beauty of
presentation.
