JRDA Carriage Gymkhana Fun Day Tentative Schedule: 11:00 AM – Short meeting about what each class entails. 12:00 PM – Classes begin Patterns will be provided at the 11 AM meeting. Full harness or bridle with surcingle required for the Long Lining class. One horse at a time in the ring for safety. Trail driving available between or after classes. Introducing a new Driving Derby Series for driving enthusiasts! Registration for the Series is required to be eligible for the Series Championships. Registration is FREE. You must register for the series PRIOR to any event you want to qualify with. Online Registration link: https://forms.gle/iLkmajX8AhZKm1GVA To be eligible for the series Championship you will need to compete in at least 3 of these events. Division/Class Champions will be determined based on your best 3 scores at the end of the series. The Clinician: Sandy Green has been involved in horses for close to 40 years, many of those in both pleasure and combined driving. She works with all kinds of equines - minis to drafts, singles, and pairs. She has competed up to Advanced Level in single pony where she won bronze at the National Championships. She believes in strong basics, safety, and working with your equine as a partner. She is comfortable working with beginner and advanced drivers and believes in sharing the tools needed to continue improving on your own.
