Organizers, please download the ADS COVID-19 Statement from the right side menu and include it in your competitors packets. This statement must also be displayed prominently at your events, including at points of entry, on the info board, office, etc. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to support driving and the driving community.
ADS COVID-19 Statement (effective February 17, 2022)
Attention Event Participants & Attendees:
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending this ADS Recognized Event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
By entering this event, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party:
-Are not experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov.
-Are not under any self-quarantine orders
PHYSICAL DISTANCING AND MASKS/FACE COVERINGS REQUIREMENTS:
All persons at ADS-Recognized Events are required to follow state and local regulations for masks/face coverings and social distancing. In the absence of state or local regulations, ADS requires compliance with current CDC guidelines.
WHO MUST DISTANCE/MASK: Anyone who is not fully vaccinated* for COVID-19.
WHEN: At all times while indoors, and outdoors when you are within six feet of individuals outside of your household.
- Immediate Household Members**
- Essential support personnel assisting an entry preparing to compete, during competition (including riding on the same vehicle) and immediately after competing.
- In cases of emergency.
*Fully Vaccinated – An individual is considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer, Moderna, etc.), or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).
**Immediate Household Members – Individuals consistently living in the same house or dwelling. Members of a household may or may not be related.
